My wife is disabled in a wheelchair and has trouble with both manual can openers as well as the electric ones that frankly don’t perform well.

I purchased this item for her and let me tell you.... it like a God send. It works everytime, set it, push the button and it even stops when done. What's neat about the product is that it opens the can from the outside of the can consequently there are no sharp edges after the top is removed. Its the best.

I have owned many can openers including electric can openers over the years. This is by far the best performing one I’ve ever had. Just place it on top of the can and press the button to start. Once it’s done a full rotation, just remove it. There’s a built-in retractable plier to remove the can lids. It comes with a magnetic holder that can be mounted on the wall. It also shows the battery percentage to show when it needs to be charged.

I bought this because my dog's prescription dog food is now made in pull-tab cans. The pull-tabs are handy to open but getting the contents out as a whole amount is impossible. The side-opening Canslab opens the can perfectly and the contents slide out easily. Photo shows both small and large Science Diet cans - I use the Canslab to open both sizes. Works very well with no effort.
